Cosmopsaltriini (лат.) — триба певчих цикад из подсемейства Cicadinae. Известно 8 родов. Австралия и Океания, Юго-Восточная Азия^[4]

Описание

От близких триб отличается латеральными выступами пигофера самцов (синапоморфия видов этой группы). В фауне Австралии отличается следующими признаками: переднеспинной воротничок с одним срединно-боковым зубцом; у самцов (австралийских видов) оперкулы очень длинные, покрывают примерно 2/3 длины брюшка; голова с теменной частью средней ширины или узкой, так что супраантеннальная пластинка достигает как минимум половины расстояния до глаза. Удлиненные и загнутые вверх на вершине боковые лопасти дистальной части плеча пигофера самца сходны у некоторых Burbungini и рудиментарные у Thophini. Прямая или изогнутая тека также широко распространена среди Cicadidae, но толстые апикальные придатки характерны для Cosmopsaltriina^[5].

Систематика

Включает 8 родов и около 120 видов^[6]. Таксон был выделен в 1932 году^[1]. Многие авторы сначала трактовали его в ранге подтрибы Cosmopsaltriina (в Dundubiini)^[7]). Даффелс (Duffels, 1983, 1986, 1993, 1997) переопределил эту подтрибу и показал, что подсемейство Moaninae, представленное единственным родом Moana, входит в эту подтрибу (Duffels, 1993). Даффелс и Тернер (2002^[7]) представили филогению для Cosmopsaltriinae^[5]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[4]. Валидность таксона в ранге трибы подтверждена в 2018 году в результате ревизии певчих цикад австралийским энтомологом Maxwell Sydney Moulds и его коллегами^[4]. В 2021 году классификация была дополнена^[10].
