Leptopsaltriini (лат.) — триба певчих цикад из подсемейства Cicadinae. Известно более 230 видов. Северная Америка, Южная и Юго-Восточная Азия.

Описание

Голова, включая глаза, примерно такой же ширины, как мезонотум, или уже. Задний воротник переднеспинки очень узкий. Крылья прозрачные. Оперкулум у самца маленький, чешуевидный. Брюшной стернит III (а иногда и стернит IV) у самцов во многих родах имеет бугорчатые выступы на каждой боковой поверхности (за пределами этого трибы этот признак не встречался). Брюшной стернит VII у самцов отчетливо отделен от тергита 7 складками[2].

Распространение

Северная Америка, Южная и Юго-Восточная Азия[2][3].

Систематика

Включает около 40 родов и более 230 видов[1][4]. Таксон в современном понимании был впервые выделен в 1923 году английским энтомологом John Coney Moulton (1886—1926) в ранге подтрибы Leptopsaltriina[5]. Она была помещена в трибу Dundubiini в 1985 году. Ли и Хаяши (2003) пришли к выводу, что Cicadini и Dundubiini следует объединить, и включили виды бывшей Leptopsaltriina в их подтрибу Cicadina. Позже Ли (2008) изменил название племени с Dundubiini на Cicadini. Ли и Хилл (2010) рассматривали Leptopsaltrina как одну из подтриб Cicadini. Ли и Эмери (2013) возвели Leptopsaltriina в трибу в составе Cicadinae[6][2]. Валидность таксона в ранге трибы подтверждена в результате ревизии певчих цикад австралийским энтомологом Maxwell Sydney Moulds и его коллегами[3]. В 2021 году классификация была дополнена[7].
